I KNOW

Not so long ago, I was hanging out with my nephew and he said, “I know something you don’t know.” What then ensued, as I attempted to satisfy my curiosity was a protracted conversation around the fact that his simple word game had hooked me faster than this weeks trending instagram Reel. In that very moment of taking the bait, the power dynamic of our relationship changed as he slowly reeled me in.

This intuitive kids game around Knowledge and Curiosity really got me thinking about what we feel that we KNOW about ourselves on the surface (ie I KNOW) Vs that of what we later and frustratingly have to discover and then rediscover about ourselves as we age and gain experience.

It’s frustrating because it is something which your subconscious knew from day one.=  I know something you don’t know

Q:

What did my  nephew know?

A:

Well, that’s for him to share.
