South Africa, Durban

Yesterday morning I was in Mozambique, this morning it was Swaziland and right now, it’s South Africa.

Now the goal of this #travel was to really chill and explore different countries. But last night after arriving in Manzini ( Swaziland) with no 3G, low battery and no booked accommodation, I found myself stuck with a banana and a #malerone tablet for dinner. All because my credit & debit cards systematically declined one after another. I hadn’t been that stuck in a long long time. Fortunately it wasn’t for long, as I was rescued by a Christian foundation . But the problem was, what with Easter and the shops closed, I had to leave for I only had enough cash for one more night or a bus to South Africa . I opted for Durban as I hoped I would quickly find internet access to unblock my cards or be able to change money. This afternoon after 6 hours heading south, I was dumped on the edge of Durban with nothing but a McDonald around. I wandered over, found free wifi, unlocked my cards got lunch and then ordered an Uber and set off to find accommodation. #boom
I’m now back in the game. Phone is charged. Credit cards working. Fully Fed.

Durban , like a good adventure is #flipping amazing. It’s now time to meet Bruce.
