Our mission was to trekking from Tring, over the Ridgeway and up to Ivinghoe Beacon. Quite simply, it’s a chilled and stunning Sunday hike.

Packing nothing but water and our cameras, we decided to trekked slowly as to savour the beauty of the Ashridge forest before arriving in the quaint village of Aldbury Lastly we found ourselves snapping the barges of the Grand Union canal after we’d descended from the best views of Hertfordshire. All that we were missing was a flask and some hot tea.
